Jefferson Andres's story

Andres is 28 years old. He lives in the family home in the community of Yalquer. From the time he was very young, he learned from his parents how to work the land with crops that grow in the area and to take care of farm animals.

For this reason, on completing his secondary education, and with the firm idea of paying for his professional studies himself, he set out to grow Capiro potatoes on family land as a way to earn income. At first, he did it with his father, but three years ago he came to do this on his own. Now, he has been offered the lending of a piece of land ready for sowing.

Andres wishes to take advantage of this, and so he is requesting his first loan to buy seeds, soil amendments, and fertilizers, as well as to pay for clearing the land.

In this way, Andres aspires to have financial stability with his agricultural work and in the future to have an agricultural plantation.
