A loan of $13,500 helps a woman-owned small business (& 2-time Kiva borrower!) invest in inventory, machinery upkeep & a new employee.

Margaret's story
I grew up on a farm in Elkton, TN, in a house that was once known as “Rose Hill”. I have, and always will be, tied to that land. It was where I was encouraged by my family and friends to create art, to follow my dreams and to never give up. I named my business Rose Hill Workshop to honor that past that I hold dear.
When I started in the fashion industry I quickly realized that I was happiest when I was helping other people interpret their ideas, their dreams. The joy on a designer's face when they see a vision brought to life, the happiness on a client’s face when they slip on a garment they have been dreaming about, the transforming power of clothing and how it can make you feel most like yourself.
