A loan of $800 helps to buy farm inputs such as seeds and pesticides.

Timothy's story
Timothy, 33, is a horticultural farmer with nine years of experience, earning an average of KES 40,000 monthly from his farming activities. Married with two children under eighteen, he also benefits from his spouse’s additional income.
This is his first loan of KES 100,000 from VisionFund Kenya, which he intends to use for purchasing seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides to improve his crop yields and farm productivity. With plans to lease more land and diversify his crops, Timothy aims to expand his business and create a more stable income.
The anticipated profits will help repay the loan and reinvest in the farm, while his long-term goals include educating his children and achieving financial stability for his family.
