Benson
A loan of $425 helps to purchase essential farming inputs, such as seeds and fertilizers.

Benson's story
Benson is a 29-year-old husband and father of two children. He also supports two additional family members, which makes him a key provider for a household with four dependents. For the past 10 years, Benson has been engaged in crop farming and livestock fattening. His dedication and resilience have enabled him to earn an average monthly income of 20,000 KES, which he uses to support his family and sustain his business.
This is Benson’s ninth loan with VisionFund Kenya. He is seeking 55,000 KES to purchase essential farming inputs, such as seeds and fertilizers, to improve his farm’s productivity and increase his earnings.
Benson anticipates that the profits from this investment will enable him to expand his farming business and educate his children so that they can have a brighter future. His ultimate dream is to achieve financial stability and continue investing in his children’s education. By supporting Benson, the lenders are empowering a hardworking farmer to grow his business, uplift his family, and work toward long-term success.
