The banc villageois was created in June 2007 and is made up of brave women who trade in a variety of items. They all live in the same neighborhood, and are very supportive of each other.
Madame Marie Rose is a 54-year-old married woman with 3 children, one of whom is a boy. She trades in fabrics and sanitary pads. She is on the right of the photo with her hand raised.
With her loan, she buys fabrics: wax 10 packs of 12 yards each, bazin 20 meters, voile in different colors 100 yards and 10 boxes of 10 packs of Angel Moon sanitary pads.
She sells to order and has a loyal clientele. She has over 10 years' experience and good sales techniques.
She takes her profits to look after her own needs and another part to help her husband with the children's schooling.
