Carmen is single and has a son, age 13, who is her dependent. She lives with her child. She has relatives living abroad. Two years ago, Carmen started her business, a store, which she learned on her own initiative. She works from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Carmen is requesting a loan to have resources that will permit her to stock the inventory of her business. She will use the borrowed funds to buy sugar, rice, corn, beverages, salt, and other products wholesale, to strengthen her store business and meet customer demand. She hopes that the investment will allow her to better serve her customers, so that her sales and profits will increase.
