Ndoga Babacar Group's story

This group was created at the same time as the banc villageois in 2010. It is made up of 16 women, all of whom live in the neighbourhood. They are all engaged in small business.. Madame Ramatou, standing on the right of the photo with her hand raised, is the group's leader. She is 36 years old. She is married and has four children. She sells groundnuts and sheep. She buys her supplies at the main market and then sells her products in the capital. The profits generated by her business will be used to increase her savings but also for her personal needs.
