This 19-member group was created in September 2012. The aim of the creation is to enable members to develop economic activities. The members live in the same locality and are all united by family ties and strong solidarity. Their main activity is retailing.
Mrs Diakher, the group's representative on the right of the photo with her hand raised, is a divorced mother of 4, including 2 daughters, aged 62.
She trades in a variety of products.
With this funding, she plans to buy bags of beans and groundnuts to sell at the local weekly market.
