Dibanecounda Group's story
This group of women belong to the banc villageois set up in July 2007. They live in the same village and share strong connections. They are dynamic and united. Their main sources of incomes come from their small businesses. Aissatou is fifty-nine years old, married, and the mother of four children. She has her hand raised in the photo and is the group leader. With her new loan, she plans to buy vegetables and peanut butter to resell. Once she has made her profits, she will take care of her children's food and school fees.
