A loan of $1,500 helps to buy seeds, fertilizers, compost, organic mulch and more.

Rocio Elizabeth's story
In the Jesús del Gran Poder community lives Roció, a young single mother who shares her family home with her parents, daughter and brother. In their rural community, agriculture and animal husbandry are a way of life for her parents and local people. As a result, Roció began planting cacao seeds as her main source of income 5 years ago. This activity has allowed her to improve her daughter's quality of life and support her mother.
Roció wants to expand her business to achieve better profits, so she is requesting a loan to purchase seeds, fertilizers, compost, organic mulch and more. In this way, she hopes to increase the area of land she farms with graded cacao seeds. Her long-term goal is to own a large cacao farm to provide her daughter and family with financial stability.
