Fasse Ndiayenne Group's story
This group was created in April 2008 by women from the community who share the same values of solidarity, mutual aid, and self-sacrifice. They run small businesses. Fatou, with her hand raised in the photo, is the group's representative. She is forty-four years old, married, and the mother of six children. She also cares for two other children. She sells peanut butter. With her new loan, she plans to buy peanuts that she will process into a paste to resell. She will use the profits to buy livestock and take care of her personal and family needs.
