A loan of $950 helps to buy farm inputs such as seeds, fertilizer and herbicides.

Farida's story
Farida, a 25-year-old married woman with an 18-year-old child, has been working as a crop farmer for five years, earning an average monthly income of KES 10,000. With her spouse’s additional income, she successfully repaid her previous loan from Vision Fund Kenya and is now seeking a second loan of KES 120,000 to purchase farm inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, and herbicides.
The increased productivity from these investments will help her generate profit that will be used to repay the loan and support her child’s education. Farida’s ultimate goal is to achieve financial stability, ensuring a secure future for her family while continuing to grow her farming business.
