Gs Cristo La Fuente : Grupo 2 Group's story
Nadia, a Haitian national, is 42 years old and currently in a common law relationship. She is an entrepreneurial woman and a mother of seven children. She attended school up to the second year of high school. She arrived in the Dominican Republic as a child because her family was looking for a better quality of life and a better future.
Nadia has been in business for approximately 21 years. Previously she sold second hand clothes, but the business did not generate the necessary income to support her family. For that reason, she currently has a convenience store where she sells sugar, rice, oil, meats, eggs, sauces, flour, vegetables, coffee, salt, soap and other basic necessities.
Although prices tend to rise steadily, these obstacles do not worry Nadia because she is very optimistic about the future of her store.
She operates her business out of a small storefront and with this loan she wants to buy more supplies to stock her grocery store. In doing so, she will have a wider variety of products, grow her business, satisfy her customers' needs, and generate more income.
She is the group's coordinator and this is her 16th loan with AEI.
Her dream is to own her own house.
Thank you for supporting Nadia and GS Cristo La Fuente Group 2.
