Damaris
A loan of $800 helps to purchase dairy meal and construct a modern cow shed.

Damaris's story
Damaris, a 52-year-old married entrepreneur and mother of one, has been running a successful dairy farming business for five years, supplying fresh milk to local villagers and earning KES 25,000 monthly.
As the primary provider for a family of five, she is determined to expand her business and increase productivity. Taking her second loan of KES 100,000 from VisionFund Kenya, she plans to invest in high-quality dairy meal to enhance milk production and construct a modern cow shed to improve hygiene, efficiency, and animal welfare.
With these improvements, she anticipates higher earnings that will enable her to support her child’s education up to university level. Her long-term vision is to transform her small-scale farm into a thriving dairy enterprise, eventually owning a well-established dairy shop and achieving financial stability for her family while contributing to the local economy.
