Jose Leonel's story
Jose Leonel, 55, is married and has a son. He lives in Las Vegas, Santa Barbara with his wife and son.
He used to work as a day laborer but for over 35 years has been growing coffee, bananas and basic grains on his own land.
He is applying for a loan in the amount of 25,000 HNL to buy compost, fertilizers, coffee plants, banana shoots and hire workers.
This loan will allow him to provide better care for his crops, increase production and improve quality.
His goal is to save to buy more land and expand his cropland, insuring a better future for his son.
