Cindy Paola

At 33 years of age Cindy, a Afro-descendant woman feels very grateful for her life. After separating from her husband she has had many blessings which have provided her the opportunity to provide her children what they need for a dignified life and a good education. In order to put bread on the table she earns a living collecting and selling shells and seafood. She has been in this business for three years and has regular customers in Guayaquil and Quito. She sends her fresh products by courier differentiating herself from her competition with her good prices and credit terms. Cindy dreams of having her own boat to travel to the mangroves more rapidly to collect her seafood. In this way she aspires to generate more income with her business. So she is requesting financial support from the Kiva organisation with whom she hopes to work hand-in-hand for a long time.
