Kousar's story

Financial constraints alongside the want for a better life and good quality education for her seven children are only a few but valuable factors that encouraged Kousar to start her business selling animals after taking a loan from Kashf Foundation.

Kousar is 46 years old; she is a married woman. She buys animals (baby goats & calves) at low prices, brings them up and then sells them out in the market at higher prices. Kousar makes enough through her business to contribute to the family's income. She also sells milk to generate extra income.

Kousar needs to improve her business to bear her household expenses. For this reason, she contacted Kashf Foundation and applied for a loan of PKR 200,000 to purchase more animals so she can increase her sales. Kousar is very experienced and has good contacts in the market. With this loan, she will definitely expand her business and income level.
