Salwa's story

Salwa, a 28-year-old Jordanian mother of five, is a determined and hardworking woman who aspires to build a brighter and more secure future for her family. Her husband works as a scrap collector, and the family has faced significant financial challenges. Undeterred, Salwa’s resourcefulness and drive have motivated her to take initiative and create an opportunity for growth.

In her community, Salwa identified a pressing need for sewing services. Recognizing this gap, she launched a small sewing business from her home, offering tailored solutions that meet the practical needs of her neighbors.

To take her business to the next level, Salwa is seeking a 700 JODs loan. This loan will allow her to purchase essential raw materials such as fabric, thread, and an advanced sewing machine, enabling her to increase her production capacity and expand her offerings. With this investment, Randa aims to boost her income and provide her family with greater financial stability.

Salwa’s dream is to make sure at least one of her daughters will continue her education and get a higher education. In addition she wants to expand her house and her business.
