Ubumwe Agric Group's story

Marie Claudine is a 47-year-old mother of five children whose ages range from of 14 to 24. Her husband is also a farmer, and for the past 25 years, she has been growing Irish potatoes.

Marie Claudine is the leader of the group named Ubumwe agric, which in English means "unity." All of the group members grow Irish potatoes.

Marie Claudine will use her loan to buy more Irish potato seeds and fertilizers. She will then sell her harvest in the marketplace to meet customer demands. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to provide tuition for her children.

Marie Claudine is thankful for your support.
