Zirakamwa Agric Group's story
Dina is a 43-year-old mother of three children whose ages range from 17 to 21. Her husband is also a farmer, and for the past 23 years, she has been growing Irish potatoes.
Dina is the leader of the group named Zirakamwa Agric, which in English means "Farmers who love to work." All of the group members are Irish potato growers.
Dina will use her loan to buy more Irish potato seeds and fertilizers. She will then sell her harvest at the marketplace to meet customer demands in the area. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to provide tuition for her children.
