Annet
A loan of $600 helps to purchase for more raw food and vegetables for resale.

Annet's story
Annet is 48 years old and lives in the town of Njeru in the Mukono region of Uganda. She is married and has 7 children with 4 of them currently in school. For the past 20 years, Annet has been working hard to manage her Grocery store, where sells raw food. To help expand her business, Annet has requested a loan of 2200000 Ugandan Shillings from BRAC Uganda. The loan will be used to purchase for more raw food and vegetables for resale and will help Annet to generate greater profits and improve on her family standards of living by providing them enough food. Annet hopes that in the future she will be able to buy a plot of land and build rental units for business. She is a member of BRAC's microfinance program that primarily serves small group members like her who do not have collateral for commercial loans but do have businesses that have grown and qualify for microloans.
