Mujeres Unidas Group's story
Mujeres Unidas is the name of this group. It is made up of female heads of household who fight tirelessly to get ahead and give their loved ones everything they couldn't have. They are also in the elimination of poverty program.
Among the members Petrona is worth mentioning. She is married and a mother. She says that her husband strives every day to give the best to his children so that they have better opportunities than he did.
Petrona says she works selling fruits as a street vendor. With her work she is able to contribute to the support of her loved ones so that they lack nothing and experience no need of any kind. She seeks this loan to buy a variety of fresh fruits in order to stock up and meet her customers' needs as she has been doing.
Note that the child in the photo is the daughter of one of the group members who is signing for this loan.
