Devka

Devka, a Sri Lankan woman in her late forties, is a foreigner in a country with significant differences in language and culture. It has been challenging for her to adapt and prove herself in her work under these circumstances.

She started a house-cleaning services business to secure a dignified income for herself and a peaceful living. She asked for a loan of 1,000 JOD to buy cleaning products for her business, hoping to eventually open her own company in her home country and empower women to work with her, building a better future.
