Taghred

Taghred, a Jordanian woman in her twenties and a mother of two, is married to a husband who trades in scraps. The family lives far from the city center and has been struggling to provide for its needs and services.

Taghred took advantage of the opportunity and decided to start her home-based clothing business to improve her family’s income and help her neighbors with her services. She asked for a loan of 800 JOD to buy clothes for her business, hoping to increase her income, save money, and eventually open her own clothing shop in her community.
