A loan of $1,925 helps to buy more sacks of maize to sell.
John's story
Living with his family in Butoole, Uganda, John is 42 years old, married and the father of seven children, of which five are attending school. He trades in maize, buying it during the harvest season when prices are low, then selling it at planting season when prices are high.
However, John faces the challenge of limited funds to buy maize in large quantities. He has therefore requested a 7,000,000 UGX loan to buy more sacks of maize to increase his profit margin. He hopes that with more income he can keep his children in school. He wishes to thank his funders.
