A loan of $1,975 helps to purchase three more buffaloes to raise for sale.
Tâm's story
Ms. Tâm, 34 years old, is married with two children who are currently attending school. Her family belongs to an ethnic minority group and lives in the mountainous area of Thường Xuân District. Due to their challenging circumstances, her husband works abroad as a labor migrant, leaving Ms. Tâm to take care of their two children alone.
Her main occupations are farming and livestock raising, as well as cutting sugarcane for others to earn extra income. She plans to expand her livestock farming by increasing her herd of buffaloes, but she faces financial constraints.
To achieve her goal, Ms. Tâm applied for a loan from Thanh Hoa MFI to purchase three more buffaloes. She intends to raise them for about a year and sell them to traders for a profit. If the buffaloes thrive, Tâm expects to earn around $400 per buffalo annually, which would significantly improve her family's financial situation.
With this loan, she hopes to create a sustainable income source to support her children’s education and her family's well-being.
