Hiền's story

Mrs. Hiền, a 40-year-old woman from an ethnic minority group, lives with her family in the mountainous region of Cẩm Thủy district. She is married and has two children, aged 13 and 7, both of whom are currently attending school.

Her husband works as a manual laborer, while Mrs. Hiền manages various tasks to support the family. She combines farming and livestock raising with working as a domestic helper for local families to improve their household income.

Recently, Mrs. Hiền planned to expand her small livestock business by purchasing three buffaloes. With the abundant grass resources near her home, she estimates that each buffalo could bring in nearly $400 in profit annually. To turn this plan into reality, she applied for her first loan from Thanh Hóa MFI.

Mrs. Hiền is optimistic about the future, hoping that her buffaloes will thrive and help her family achieve better financial stability. Her story is a testament to the resilience and determination of people in remote communities striving for a better life.
