A loan of $1,975 helps to purchase additional fertilizer and acacia seedlings to boost production.
Tuyển's story
Mrs. Tuyển, a 51-year-old woman from an ethnic minority group, lives in the mountainous area of Cẩm Thủy district. She has been married for many years and her children are now all grown. Her husband works as a manual laborer while she juggles various tasks, including farming, livestock raising, and working as a sanitation worker to support her family. Despite their hard work, their income is barely enough to make ends meet.
For over 20 years, Mrs. Tuyển's family has cultivated acacia trees on leased land. Although the harvest is only once every five years, the trees provide a steady income while helping to protect the land from erosion.
The recent harvest has inspired Mrs. Tuyển to expand her farming efforts. She plans to purchase additional fertilizer and acacia seedlings to boost production. To fund this she is seeking her seventh loan from Thanh Hóa MFI, hoping that the loan will help her family continue their journey toward a more secure and prosperous future.
