Hương's story

Mrs. Hương, a 48-year-old widow, resides in a small house in a rural area of Quảng Xương district. Her children are all grown, leaving her to face life’s challenges on her own. For nearly a decade, she has been sustaining herself through a modest street vendor business, earning an average monthly income of $269.

Mrs. Hương's cart is stocked with small yet essential items such as glasses, hats, nail clippers, and leather wallets, which she sells to both locals and tourists in the area. Despite her hard work, Mrs. Hương struggles to expand her inventory due to a lack of capital, which limits her ability to meet the growing demands of her customers.

To overcome this hurdle, Mrs. Hương is requesting her fifth loan from Thanh Hóa MFI, intending to purchase additional leather wallets, glasses, and other items for resale. With this support, she hopes to improve her income, secure a better financial future, and build a safety net for her old age.
