Ang Cang 151 Group's story
Tai is a married ethnic minority woman. She lives with her family at a stilt house in the remote mountains of northwestern Vietnam. Day by day, she and her husband work hard on rice cultivation and breeding animals to make a living. Her sons are also working as hired laborers on a construction site to help her with extra income.
Realizing the greater need for living expenses, she decided to raise fish to earn extra income. According to her, fish need less capital to invest and also get less diseases than other farm animals. However, she did not have enough capital at that time. Therefore, she asked for help with this loan to buy more fish. She is determined to raise healthy livestock to generate a profitable business, so she will able to continue investing in it from now on. With the profits, she will repair her house.
