Ang Nua 155 Group's story
Standing first on the right in the photo is Xich. She is an ethnic minority woman living with her family in a remote commune in Dien Bien, Vietnam. To generate income, she devoted herself to growing crops such as rice and coffee. In addition, she also raises pigs and poultry.
For her grandson, who is in school having a full life and being dedicated to the studies, she has considered and changed her focus from raising cattle to growing crops to increase income. Having had experience growing coffee before, she decided to invest in the coffee field and she needed capital to buy fertilizer. Therefore, she applied and successfully got a loan from Anh Chi Em program to implement her plan.
She hopes her coffee will grow well and be abundant so that she can have more capital to invest in breeding. She confided that as long as her grandson can study well and her family has a better life, no matter how difficult it is, she will overcome all of it. She also wants to thank the lenders for giving her this precious opportunity.
