Pa Khoang 149 Group's story

Standing on the far right of the picture is Hoi. She is a married ethnic minority woman living with a family of seven in the northwest area of Vietnam.

Having a large family is one of the most difficult things she faces when she and her husband have to take on the family's expenses. Currently, the couple focuses on cultivating rice, corn and cassava. In addition, Hoi also raises chickens, ducks and fish. She mentioned that the hardest time was when she was unable to work due to an illness that required hospitalization. With the spirit of striving and overcoming difficulties always in her heart, she is not afraid of difficulties and still plans to continue to expand her business after recovering.

Based on her experience in raising farm animals, she bought more fish with the approved loan because fish are easy to care for, have less disease, and can be fed by grass and cassava leaves available at home. With the profits earned in the future, she is going to expand her business.

She wants to send her appreciation to the lenders who gave her this opportunity. Most of all, her wish now is to have a better life.
