A loan of $1,975 helps to purchase buffaloes to raise for sale.
Thiết's story
Thiết, a 51-year-old woman from an ethnic minority group in Vietnam, is married and resides in Thường Xuân District with her family. Her two sons work far from home to provide financial support, while she takes care of her two young grandchildren who are in primary school. Besides managing household responsibilities, Thiết supplements her income through farming and temporary labor, including harvesting acacia. With over 25 years of agricultural experience, she works tirelessly to sustain her low-income household despite the difficulties of living in a remote area.
This is Thiết’s first time seeking a loan from Thanh Hoá MFI. She intends to invest in livestock farming. She plans to use the funds to purchase buffaloes, raise them for about a year, and then sell them. This initiative aims to diversify her income sources and enhance her family’s financial stability as she juggles childcare, farming, and temporary jobs.
Thiết envisions a healthier and happier life for her family. Her ultimate aspiration is to secure her family’s well-being, achieve financial stability, and create a brighter future for her grandchildren.
