Tuyết

Tuyết, a 37-year-old woman, is married and the mother of three children who are still dependent. She lives with her family in Hoằng Hóa District, near the sea.

For more than 10 years, Tuyết has been running a small business producing fish sauce, a traditional craft in her hometown. This process involves fermenting fresh fish and sea salt for approximately one year. Despite her hard work, her family is classified as a low-income household in the local community.

Tuyết is seeking her sixth loan from Thanh Hóa Microfinance Institution (MFI) to expand her fish sauce production. She plans to use the funds to purchase additional fish and salt, which will enable her to boost production. By increasing her business capacity, she hopes to overcome the challenge of low selling prices and improve her family’s income.

Looking forward, Tuyết dreams of renovating her home to provide a more comfortable living environment for her family. She also aspires to sell her fish sauce at higher prices, ensuring a better livelihood and financial stability for the future.
