Tân's story
Ms. Tân, a 42-year-old ethnic minority woman, is struggling to raise two young children in a remote village in Thường Xuân district. Her husband works far away and rarely comes home, leaving all the family burdens on her shoulders.
Every day, after long hours of hard work in the fields, she is busy caring for livestock, growing crops, and looking after her children. Her house is far from the commune center, and the road is difficult to travel. Nevertheless, she always works tirelessly to support her family.
With the desire to improve her life, Ms. Tân has decided to apply for her first loan from Thanh Hoa MFI to buy more cows to raise and sell after about a year. She believes that raising more cows will provide her family with a stable income, help cover living expenses, and ensure her children's education.
