Tứ
A loan of $1,575 helps to purchase 4 young buffaloes to raise.
Tứ's story
Mrs. Tứ, a 61-year-old ethnic minority woman, lives in a remote village in Thường Xuân district. Despite her advanced age, she continues to work hard to support her family. Her two sons are married and have moved far away for work, leaving her to live with her eldest daughter-in-law and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Tứ's house is located in a very remote area, with difficult access roads. Her family is classified as near-poor in the village, primarily relying on small-scale farming and animal husbandry for their livelihood. Every day, she wakes up early to work on local farms while also managing her own livestock at home. Recognizing that raising buffaloes is more cost-effective and offers higher income compared to other animals, she has decided to apply for her first loan from Thanh Hoa MFI to use along with her savings to purchase 4 young buffaloes, which she plans to raise and sell after about a year.
Mrs. Tứ dreams that one day her family will overcome poverty and lead a more fulfilling life. She hopes for her children and grandchildren to always be healthy, happy, and successful.
