Nua Ngam 108 Group's story
Huong is a married woman living in Dien Bien, a mountainous province in northwest Vietnam. In this place, agriculture plays a very important role in villagers’ lives. Huong also makes a small contribution to the agriculture of her hometown by doing a variety of work such as rice and corn farming, planting cassava, and raising cows, chickens and pigs.
Huong makes every effort to keep the farm productive because her income depends on it. She has good skills so her livestock always stays fat and healthy. Among the livestock, she wants to invest in cow breeding the most because she has more than eight years of experience in this field, so she decided to take this loan to buy one more cow. She hopes this investment will be profitable so that she can pay for her children's school fees and secure her future.
