Thủy, a 43-year-old ethnic minority woman from Thanh Hóa province, has over 10 years of experience in afforestation. She lives in Ngọc Lặc District with her husband and two children, aged 22 and 11, and her family is classified as low-income.

Her current income from farming and helping locals barely covers living expenses, making life challenging in their remote home. To improve her family’s situation, Thủy is applying for her first loan from Thanh Hóa MFI to expand and maintain her planted forests which she has been involved with for over 10 years by buying more acacia seedlings. She aims to boost income by harvesting timber for sale.

She hopes the earnings will support her children’s education and enable her to build a better home, ensuring a brighter future for her family.
