Liên

Liên, a hardworking 32-year-old woman, has been engaged in forestry for the past five years. She is married with two children and belongs to an ethnic minority group in Thanh Hóa province.

Living in Ngọc Lặc District, her family relies heavily on her income, which includes earnings from forestry and working as a helper for locals to supplement their finances. With a 10-year-old and a 3-year-old toddler, her family is recognized as low-income within the local community.

Liên is planning to replant acacia trees on the land where timber was previously harvested. To achieve this, she is applying for her first loan from Thanh Hóa MFI to purchase acacia seedlings, aiming to generate additional income through forestry in the coming years.

Driven by her aspiration to improve her family’s living conditions, especially given their remote location, Liên is determined to create a brighter future for her children.
