Ruth's story
Ruth is a 52-year-old married woman with 5 children. She is from the western part of Ugandan. Ruth operates a relatively small restaurant, where she offers specifically local foods - steamed matooke, rice, cassava, karo, beef stew, beans, and ground nuts among other foods. She faces a major challenge of limited space for her customers.
Ruth is requesting a loan to extend her business premises so that she will be able to accommodate more customers and satisfy their needs fully. Within the next 2 years, she hopes to add catering services for parties, burials, conferences, and seminars.
