Mujeres Unidas Group's story
“Mujeres Unidas” is the name of this committee. All of the members are female heads of household who are partnering together so that they can provide their loved ones with everything they did not have. They are also participating in the poverty elimination program and working together so that they can move forward.
One of the members is Sra. Alicia. She is a hardworking individual who looks for ways to encourage the other members of her group so that they can succeed together. Alicia says that she raises and sells farm animals. Even though her work is modest, she is able to generate household income to support her family and provide them with everything they need.
Alicia is requesting a loan to buy balanced feed for her animals, which will allow her to continue working and improving as before. All of the members are grateful for the opportunity they have received to join this group, which will allow them to improve their businesses and push forward.
