Quan is an ethnic minority woman. She is living in a stilt house in a rural northwest commune in Viet Nam with her 3 generation family. In this photo, she stands in the corner of the right.
Living in a place where agriculture is the primary source of income for every household, her family is no exception. She and her husband work in the fields every day. Along with cultivation, she raises cows, and pigs as an additional income.
She has a lot of available forage to feed cows, so she wants to buy more cows to expand her business and increase her income. However, at that time she did not have enough capital. Therefore, she applied then got a loan from Anh Chi Em program to fulfill her purpose.
If the business goes well, she will use that profit to pay for her family's expenses and invest in coffee cultivation. She hopes for her family to have a healthy and happy life and for her business to do well. Thank you Kiva lenders for this support.
