Bung Lao 53 Group's story

Hoa lives in a stilt house in a mountainous province with five members of her family. She and her husband make ends meet by farming, particularly growing rice and cassava. Besides, she also raises poultry and cows to get additional income.

Her family is issued as a poor household by local authorities. Thus, she always wants to work harder to get out of poverty.

She wished to raise more cows and started to re-invest, but she lacked capital. Therefore, she decided to connect with the Anh Chi Em program to get a loan. If her cow farming is stable, she will continue to invest to expand her business.

The profit from this work will be used to repair her house to improve their living conditions. Being illiterate, she hopes her children will have a brighter future through education.

She always believes that eventually, with her unflagging determination, her family will live more comfortably in the future.
