Cossy

Cossy is a 38-year-old mother of four. She separated from her husband but lives with her children in the rural area of Mbarara. Cossy is a hardworking woman who grows seasonal crops, beans, millet, and other foods to sustain her family. She also earns from a hotel (restaurant) where she sells cooked food to locals. She operates the hotel in a rented building and has fewer chairs to accommodate all her customers, hence limiting her income.

Cossy dreams of buying her own land to build a bigger hotel to accommodate all her customers. She therefore wants a loan to buy more chairs and tables where more customers will sit to eat food as well as buy more food to accommodate the extra customers. This will increase her customers, increasing her income to make her dream come true.
