Đường's story
Mr. Đường, a 58-year-old member of an ethnic minority, lives with his wife in a remote mountainous area of Như Thanh district. Together, they have raised three children, all of whom are now grown. Over the past two decades, Mr. Đường and his wife have diligently worked to sustain their family through long-term industrial crop cultivation for timber and livestock farming.
In addition to their agricultural activities, Mr. Đường works as a construction laborer to earn extra income, while his wife takes on domestic work for local families. Despite their hard work and resourcefulness, the couple faces increasing challenges as they age, with their declining health making manual labor more difficult.
To secure a better income and prepare for their retirement, Mr. Đường and his wife plan to expand their livestock farming. They aim to purchase three young buffaloes, raise them to maturity, and sell them to traders for a profit.
To achieve this goal, Mr. Đường is seeking his first loan from Thanh Hóa MFI. Combining the loan with their personal savings, the couple hopes to make this investment a reality and secure a more stable future.
