Thuý
A loan of $1,975 helps to buy three more cows and additional feed.
Thuý's story
In the rural village of Vĩnh Lộc, 46-year-old Thuý resides with her husband and adult children, except for her youngest daughter who is still attending school. Thuý and her husband have been working hard to make ends meet in their small farming community. While her husband is a self-employed laborer, Thuý has been working as a rice farmer and livestock keeper for over 20 years.
Despite their combined efforts, the couple's income remains insufficient. To supplement their earnings, Thuý also takes on additional work on neighboring farms in the area. Thuý has decided to expand their livestock business by purchasing three more cows and additional feed. She has applied for a fourth loan from Thanh Hóa MFI to fund this investment.
Thuý's long-term goal is to raise a healthy and thriving herd of cattle, which she hopes to sell for profit after a year. By taking proactive steps to enhance their livelihood, Thuý is showcasing her resilience and commitment to securing a better future for her family.
