Huệ's story
Huệ is 57 years old and married with 3 children who are independent now. She and her husband live in a small house, located in Trieu Son district.
Her husband works as a builder for which the income is low, while she has been working as a farmer for over 30 years. Their combined income is just enough for their living expenses.
Every day, she wakes up early, taking care of the cow herd and rice field. She has calculated, she can earn around $400 each year for each cow, but she needs high capital to invest in calves. She therefore decided to ask for this loan from Thanh Hoa MFI, for which she has been a member of since 2013. This plus her savings will allow her to buy 4 more calves to raise and sell after a year.
She hopes for her cow farm to grow healthily and her family's income is higher in the future.
