Sandra is 34 years old and married. She attended school up to ninth grade. Her husband is a nurse. She has a son who attends school. She lives with her husband and her son.
Sandra has been making and selling chicken and corn tamales for four and a half years. She learned the business from her mother. Her business is located at her home and she also sells on the bus. Her working hours are from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm. In the past, she sold pupusas.
Sandra needs a loan to purchase a new nixtamal mill to process the dough she uses to make and sell tamales.
Sandra dreams of having a bigger business and increasing her earnings in order to provide her family with a better quality of life.
