Jennifer

This is Jennifer. She is 25 years old. She is staying at her parents' house. Her family consists of eight members who are living together in the same house.

She started her business two years ago. She dropped out of school to help her parents do something for the family's living. She learned how to make handicrafts from her mother. She focuses on making kiekie, which is easy for her and can also generate income for her family. She makes the kiekie in different styles and sizes. Shown in the picture is the kiekie that she makes with her own hands. She makes kiekie in three days, and once the kiekie is ready to sell out, she sells it out to the local people at an affordable price and in good quality. She uses hibiscus and Chinese string to make kiekie.

The income that she earns from her kiekie will help her parents feed the family and cover family and church functions, as well as her weekly repayment. This loan she has applied for aims to purchase more hibiscus that she uses for her kiekie, and from which she will be able to continue running her business with no failures.
