Fatmata's story
Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 45-year-old Fatmata from Torkpoi Branch. She is a married business woman with five children between the ages of 12 and 26 years old. Three are currently attending school. She started this business to generate income for her family.
Fatmata runs a retail business and sells assorted items to her customers around the communities. She has been in this business for the past 12 years. Fatmata says that she has no challenges.
She requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to purchase more assorted items including; firewood, garrie, and soap to increase her business.
Fatmata says that the extra income from this loan will help to support her family. In the future, she would like to expand to a larger scale. She says thanks to BRAC and KIVA for their support.
